Guest Designer Luce Lavertu and Graphics 45 Cards!

I am very happy to announce that Luce, who has been working at The Scrapbox for the last 6 months or so will be teaching this card class in April! Drawing inspiration from the latest Graphics 45 collection "Curiousity Shoppe" and a deep appreciation for butterflies, we have a lovely set of themed spring cards!

Are they not stunning? They are even more impressive in real life - tons of depth and laquered accents. This class is 5 cards, plus matching envelopes is a great deal and I hope you can join us on:

Sat April 14th at 9am - 12pm
Cost : $28/$25 (great value for 5 cards plus envelopes!)

Call the store now to sign up! 613-745-2215.

Everyday is a chance of a new beginning!

Most of us forget that everyday is a new beginning! When we get up in the morning you are giving a new chance to start over!yesterday is gone but you have a chance to start over and do better today! take it and go to bed proud of yourself tonight! don't let anybody take over your day, you are the Master of your life!
For a very long time I did let others to be in charge of the way my day will go, but not anymore!
Some people don't understand boundaries and use their power or authorities to manipulate others, don't give them the power!
For 13th years now I have started The Simple Abundance a Day book of Comfort and Joy from Sarah Ban Breathnanch, this year I wish I will finish this journey! I'm ready to learn to be happy with what I have! I'm so bless to have a wonderful husband, my two kids and the purrfect four siemise cats!
Yesterday I did start an album kit I order on line and did some organisation in the unfinish pile of projects I have I will start posting finish projects soon!
Have a wonderful day!

2012 A New Year!

Has any one heard of the 21day habit theory? Dr Maxwell Maltz wrote the bestseller Psycho-Cybernetics.  Originally a Plastic Surgeon, Maltz noticed that it took  21 days for amputees to cease feeling phantom sensations  in the amputated limb. From further observations he found  it took 21 days to create a new habit. Since then the '21  Day Habit Theory' has become an accepted part of self-help  programs. So, if the brain circuits take engrams (memory traces), and produce  neuroconnections and neuropathways only if they are  bombarded for 21 days in a row. This means that our brain  does not accept ?new? data for a change of habit unless  it is repeated each day for 21 days (without missing a day). Thanks Nicole!http://aneverydaykindofwonderful.blogspot.com/
That being said I'm on day one of 21 days of blogging!
For me the New Year is full of new goals and aspirations I don't do resolutions it doesn't work for me! Everyone is different!
  • Finish the pile of unfinished scrapbooking projects
  • Keep making progress for the new venture "The Vintage Cat Studio"
  • My Etsy and Graby Road Store
  • Teaching some classes
  • Have one project publish
to name some of my Goals....I prefer to start with some and add to the list little bit at a time....
I wish everyone a wonderful week!
